Independent Steps
The Independent Steps Program is a warm and nurturing introduction to a pre-nursery program. Toddlers are supported as they develop greater independence, curiosity and love for learning and friendships. In this program, parents separate gradually over the first few weeks providing a natural and an organic phase-in period and an opportunity to build the necessary skills for a successful transition to preschool.
Our curriculum, through the creative arts and dramatic play, provides open ended experiences in music, art, pre-math, science and literacy. Our educators encourage social growth, creative problem solving and language development as they guide the little ones in experiences that lead to new learning and understanding in their first independent preschool experience. Our babies also have structured music, movement and gymnastics with our specialist teachers.
