Our methodology
At Playful Minds, we proudly embrace the “HarmonyBlend” methodology, a harmonious fusion of the renowned Montessori philosophy and the dynamic Playway methodology. This fusion is designed to offer the best of both worlds, enriching the early childhood learning experience in a profound way.
We integrate the Montessori philosophy to provide a structured and nurturing foundation for learning. This approach respects the child’s innate curiosity and individual pace of development, encouraging independence and a sense of responsibility. Our Playway approach recognizes the importance of play as a natural mode of learning for young children. Through interactive and hands-on activities, children engage in meaningful experiences that promote creativity, problem-solving, and social skills. Playway methodology aligns with children’s interests, making learning enjoyable and empowering them to explore and discover their world.

Allow us to introduce you to Polka, our spirited and playful elephant mascot. Polka exudes boundless energy and is a true giggle-inducer, always ready to bring a smile to everyone’s face. With a penchant for laughter, she’s the heartbeat of any gathering, infusing it with her joyous spirit.
Polka’s heart beats to the rhythm of music and movement. She’s a singing, jumping, skipping, tumbling extraordinaire! The moment music fills the air, Polka’s dainty painted toenails start tapping, her trunk sways in tune, and her tail gracefully sweeps to the melody. Dancing is her way of staying fit, and her zest for life is truly infectious. Beneath her playful exterior lies a sharp mind. Polka thrives on solving problems and her friends know it. They seek her out for her clever insights and creative solutions.
While Polka can be mischievous, playing tricks on her friends, her loyal and caring nature shines through. She stands as an unwavering pillar of support, inspiring her forest pals to overcome challenges with positivity and determination. Sonali Jain is not just the founder and Director of Playful Minds; she is the heartbeat and soul of the school. With a nurturing touch that rivals a protective and indulgent mother, she has cultivated this space into a haven for young minds. Hailing from a family rooted in business, Sonali possesses the qualifications required for leading family enterprises. Yet, she chose to heed the call of her heart—her love for young children.

Amrita Bahl has over 25 years of experience in health and behaviour, education, and community engagement. In addition to school-based programmes, her experience as a clinical psychologist has enabled her to lead programmes with vulnerable groups in challenging settings such as prisons and temporary shelters. With an Ed.D in Health Education from Teachers College Columbia University, her expertise is in programme development, curricular innovation, translational research, communications, social emotional wellbeing, and creating contextualised experiential learning sessions.

With over 15 years of dancing prowess and more than 12 years of teaching experience, Himanshu has carved a remarkable journey through the world of dance. His professional training from renowned dance institutions like Central Contemporary Ballet, Big Dance Centre, and Delhi Dance Academy reflects his dedication to the art.
Himanshu’s expertise shines brightest when working with our youngest dancers, particularly those below 5 years of age. His ability to connect with these budding talents not only nurtures their artistic abilities but also ignites their passion for dance. Under his guidance, MDFC transforms into a dynamic space where movement and creativity intertwine, leaving a lasting impression on each child’s journey of discovery.
